Dear Colleague,

The steering committee of the SEP DooSooKai are pleased to invite you
to a seminar discussion entitled : ``Japan and the European
Researcher'' which will be held in the Europa House (Floor 6F),
Hanzomon, Tokyo on the 4th February, 1994. In total three guest
speakers are planned from European companies which also have research
operations in Japan.
 <P>
It is hoped their seminars will cover the following topics :
<UL>
<LI> expertise and research disciplines of their company,

<LI>  policy of their company towards Research and Development with

<LI>   particular reference to Japan,
future initiatives and collaborations of their company again
  with respect to Japan,

<LI> how they feel European researchers can make use of their
  experience gained in Japan in their future careers.
</UL>

 <P>
Please also find enclosed the names of the guest speakers together
with the proposed schedule of the seminar and a brief outline showing
the location of the Europa House in Tokyo. We look forward to seeing
you at the seminar in which your participation will be much appreciated.
