Kenji Kaneda

Kenji Kaneda received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tokyo in 2006. He received his Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Master of Information Science and Technology in Computer Science in 2001 and 2003 from the University of Tokyo respectively.

He joined Google Japan Inc. in June, 2006. Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher granted by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from April, 2006 to May, 2006. He also attended the educational program "Professional Programme for Strategic Software" from 2002 to 2004.

His current major research interests are in the areas of distributed systems, virtual machine monitors, cluster computing, and grid computing.
